Tonight, Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil being a witness to the lost of Malaysian Badminton Squad in semi final of Thomas Cup meeting China, 3-0. The stadium which was fully occupied with 16, 000 supporters echoed energetically since the first match between the world no 1 badminton player, Lee Chong Wei and the world no 2 badminton player, Lin Dan.

Lin Dan showed impressive performance and movement and able to defeat Lee Chong Wei for both set. He managed to conquer the rally very well and few mistakes were made. Hence, it seemed there was something wrong with Malaysian favourite player tonight, Lee Chong Wei which might felt a little tense confronting his no 1 enemy in his own country.

The match continued with double player, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong (MAS) meeting Chai Yun and Fu Hai Feng (CHI). China once again showed their power in badminton world when their double player won the match with straight set. Although Malaysia Badminton Squad still hoped for their 2nd single player, Wong Chong Hann to win the 3rd match meeting Chen Jin, fate decided for China to be in final meeting Indonesia. Wong Chong Hann, 33, who is a veteran badminton player, still gave a competitive match and his spirit should be followed by others.

For Uber Cup, Malaysia team was unable to reach to the semi final after lost to Indonesia 3-0. Wong Mew Choo, the first single player couldn't play very well and unable to focus with her game and same goes to the double player who lost easily to Indonesia.

However, Malaysia team had done all their best to win every match. For final, China will be meeting Indonesia on this Sunday and I myself can't wait to see my favourite player all the time, Taufik Hidayat to kick Lin Dan's ass. hahahahahaha..
